The United Methodist Church provides disaster relief assistance on several levels.

  On a world wide level, the United Methodist Committee On Relief [UMCOR] is always among the first on the scene whenever disasters occur.

  Contributions to UMCOR projects are applied 100% to the designated project. Administrative costs are funded by a special offering called One Great Hour of Sharing

  The North Georgia Conference has a Disaster Response Team that is prepared and staged to respond timely to local disasters.

• From time to time teams are assembled from within our congregation to respond under the direction of the Disaster Response Team or UMCOR.
